All Things Bail Bonds

I finished a year apprenticeship, and during that year only made 200 a week to basically work 24/7. I worked my ass off to get that license and am broke as hell. I started my own business with the help of my dad, and am trying to get business. Unfortunately I missed most of the phone book deadlines, and the only ad I will have won’t be out till July.
I am trying other ideas in the meantime, I have been doing mail outs but that is costing a lot of money and not getting any good responses, I end up getting calls for risky bonds, which I wan’t no part of. I might start calling once I get the call list, as the jail has a list of people that get arrested the previous day, that way I might get some bonds in the meantime.
My question is, does anyone know of any bondsman or maybe have any ideas that may help me out? I am a Florida bail bondsman. I pass out cards to everyone I see or meet. Im wondering if there are any public places you might know of that have boards for cards also

When posting somone’s Bond or Bail. Do You have to put up all of the money or certain amount or percentage? For example Bond posted at $500,000. Do you post all or a percentage of this amount. Specifically regarding Florida State.

Let’s say that I am being accused of a crime and I am taken to jail. The court puts up a $5,000 bail bond. Let’s say I can’t pay it. So I call a friend up who says, “yeah, I’ll pay that $5,000″. How does that ensure my appearance in court. It’s not my money either way; what do I care?

Now, with that type of situation present in our country (U.S.), why put a bail bond?

My boyfriend is in jail and his family is hounding me to put up my house as collateral. Of course I would never do such a thing, but there has to be more resources out there. His bond is 25,000. His family has the money, they don’t have anything for collateral worth 50,000. (Which is what is needed)

I co-sign on on a bail bond so my friend can get out of jail last december (2nd dwi with his child in the truck)the bail was for $10,000 so we end up paying $1000 to the bailbond, By the end of january he got cought again (yes, dwi again 3rd)and he got bail out, we left a truck with the bail bond their were asking $2500, the truck is probably worth $500 (five hundred)but these time i didnt sign anything it was somebody else. now he got a court date for the third dwi before the second one. Now i find out he went back to his country yesterday. what can I do? the court date is in 3 weeks and he is not planing to come back(S.O.B!). whats going to happen to me and whats going to happen to his brother that left the trashy truck with the bail bond? also he left his truck (wich also i co-signed) with 24 payments to go. So im stuck with the truck and I just dont want to lose more money! What can I do?

My husband posted bond, his bail amount was $50,000. He gave the bail bond company $5000. and was released. The court gave him a bond exoneration form… and told him he should get his money back from the bondsman. The bondsman told him that he will not get any money back!!! Is this right that they will keep hiss $5000.00 for posting bail on charges that where dropped??? I don’t understand… is their admin fee $5000.?
