I have recently cosigned a bail bond for my mom to get out of jail. It was either do this or have no one around to take care of my bro and sis. Shortly after doing this my mom got mad at me and has told me not to call her and basically I have not been in contact with her. I have been calling her significant other to take over the bond and they told me I have nothing to worry about and even though my mom has decided to hate me they think it still makes sense that I be responsibile for her. I have searched all over the internent and I cannot find anything that is really clear about what I can do to go about changing this. I would like to know what actual rules and provisions are so if I need to talk to the bail bond company I would like to say whatever I need to say so they have no choice but to remove me. Please help ASAP

We put $2,500.00 down for bail that was $25,000.00 which was 10%. Is the bondsman allowed to keep our money once the court has released bond?

Foreign Govts. won’t buy US bonds because of the massive US debt and since the US will be in a depression so their won’t be enough tax dollars bail them out.
Mr. USA asked:
I often hear a news report that guy was arrested and was released after posting a $100,000 bail. It puzzles me that a barber who was recently arrested could possibly afford to pay $100,000 bail.
