I paid 10% bale bond for someone and the person was told that if he does something that sends him to jail one more time, the person who got him a bail bond will have to pay the full bond. I just found out he has not paid his fines for this month. Could this make him go to jail? If so, what can he do to prevent that?

I was looking at someones court history. They are supposedly still in jail and never out on bail, but this “Order Exonerating Bond/bail” made me think they they are out, or were out and are back in jail now. What do you think it means?

So my boyfriend got arrested and I had to bail him out of jail and sign a paper saying I would be responsible if he bailed. We went to his first court date and they gave him another one for sept. He is thinking about moving, what all would I have to do to get my name off the paper, and can he get his court stuff transferred to where he is going to move????

I took out a bail bond for my husbands release from being arrested. This bond company surrendered my husband without any prior notice or warning, so of course all forms of payments were stopped. (we have since been sent to collection for the entire amount plus interest) Of course I was able to immediately secure a new bond for his release, again coming up with the mandatory state requirement of 10%, the same 10% already paid, accepted by the prior company. I have just found in his case file that they again, with no knowledge to me did an ex-parte hearing, requesting the courts to grant and vacate/forfeiture/exonerate the bond, which was granted, and the bond company charged a misc. cort fee of $100.00 - Why am I not being exhonerated of the bond, when I was forced to secure a new one and pay additional charges, this does not seem right that a court lets the bond company released however I continue all responsibility? Can Someone please explaing this to me…Broke&Frustrated

What happens if you help a friend pay a partial of his bail bond amount (It was $5000 and you paid $3000 of it with your credit card) and then your friend jumps bail? You didn’t put any collateral or nothing. Can the bail bondsman come after you for the full bail amount which is $50,000? Because that’s what’s happenning to my friend right now. The Bail bondsman is hounding him because he paid for some of the bail for his friend. Can they really come after your house or garnish your wages even though you didn’t sign anything for collateral? Should my friend just ignore them? Thanks for your answers
No, he did not sign anything other than the credit card receipt. He knows for sure he didn’t put any collateral down. Please, any lawyers out there?
