I notice that bail bondmen will bail someone out of jail, is this just a loan? How does this work?
Amazing Amanda asked:

tomawa asked:
A friend paid $900 to a bail bondsman towards a $1600 bail bond and his parents put their house up as collateral. He was making monthly payments to the bail bondsman but charges against him were dismissed within a couple weeks so he quit paying. Does he still owe the remaining $700 and will their still be a lien on his parents’ home?
Shane asked:
I am a temporary bail bond agent working in the state of florida. Obviosly I know the higher the risk, the bigger the bond, the more you get paid. What I would like to know is if you are a bail bondsman, how much do you make a year, or how much you have heard bail bondsman make. This is just curiosity, since even my boss doesnt sound like he is going to be paying me much when I do become a permanent bail bond agent.
Over It asked:
In california if you are the co-signer on someones bond (i know that makes you equaly responsible) if they dont pay, will the company go after the offender first or the co-signer? If the offender has served his time on the sentece the bail was posted for, can they take him back for not paying, or will they just by-pass him and go for the co-signer…. thanks
the 10% fee to the bail bond agency is still due, correct?
capster asked:
lets say bails 50 thousand and u post 5000 through bails bonds. What happens to that 5000 after all is said and done with the case. what a rip off.
lets say this to all the dumb ones that are brain washed. Let say a bails bondman bails at least 10 people in one day all bails being 10,000 or above which is the usual case senerio. Do the math at 10%. I think jail looks much nicer. I been to jail and it don’t hurt that bad. I could have put myself through college a couple of times. lol
people wake up you can’t be making that much money to support your families being taxed by the gov to go to work ,eat, and send your kids to school not to mention house payments. People wake up we are being robbed. Who really belongs in jail uncle sam?
cupcake asked:
I heard that it was %10 charge only. I bail out someone this bail bond man told me it’s $20,000 which I need to pay $2,000 to the bail bond. The person that I bail out show me that it’s $10,000 shown on his bail out receipt paper. In this case it’s suppose to be $1,000 to the bail man not $2,000. I called and asked the bail bond man he gives out some excuses and told me to see him next week to talk about this. Any advice??
this bail bond man told me that it’s 10% in the first place already so that’s why I agree to go with him. Unless I could go somewhere else for bail bond.
I live in california and I know it’s 10%
the bail bond man told me accurately that he’ll only charge 10% only.
Mike S asked:
I live in the state of FL- A friend was arrested a few months back- His bond was 10 grand- His parents put up 5 grand, and he found a bail bondsman who would pay the remainder if I signed for him- Long story short- I provided my signature- he set up a payment plan with them…something like he would pay 50 per week until the 500 was paid off- The Lady working at the Bail Bond dive only asked me for my i.d. and how long I have lived in Fl…..I signed, he was out- His charges were dropped a weeks later and he moved out of town- The Bail Bonds dive is now calling me daily wanting me to pay the 500 he never paid them- Am I really responsible? What if I don’t pay?
