you don’t pay money to the bondsmen to get the person out of jail, you pay a fee to a bondsmen who actually posts the bond with the court.
In all states the bond is paid to the court. The court may accept a property bond, the state may allow a percent to be paid, or may require full payment of the bond in cash.
But in all states the bail is always paid to the court.
In addition, they don’t allow normal bounty hunting in Ky either. They are required to get a KY warrant and not accepting out of state warrants or bond papers.
there might not be bail bondsman but the y have to let you bond out, on certain crimes maybe ROR, they are released to themselves, or they would have to put up bail…
