yeah if the bail amount has been set you go the bail bondsman give him the amount of money he requires to cover the cost of bail and your man gets out.
i think, never actually had to bail anyone out…
Yes it is usually 10 percent of total bail like if it is $5000 you usually pay $500, and then they put the cash and guarantee the money for you, BUT you have to give them some kind of guarantee, like let’s say your car or your property, sorry but your man is 100% in the hands of …maffia, good luck!,bail bond people are usually ex-cops, you know, better not even talk about it…
Most states have a required number of hours he will have to stay. You can go ahead and talk with the bailbonds man, and have the bond arranged so he’ll be ready when his time is up. The bondsman should be able to find out for you how much the bail is - and you pay him only about 10% of the amount and he’ll put up the rest. Your 10% is gone - but as long as the accused shows up for all his court appearances, you don’t owe anymore.
Depending on the state and depending on the crime, he could get out fairly quickly or he may have to wait for the next business day or whenever a judge will see him to set his bail amount.
You pay 10% of the bail amount to the bondsman and he gives the rest to the court. In return for his service, you garauntee that your bf will show up at ANY and ALL court hearings he has, from the very first to the very last. If he misses even ONE court date, you forfeit your right to get your money back. If he makes every single date, you get your deposit back. Word to the wise, never put up anything you’re not willing to lose to get someone back. People have been put in serious financial hard times because they’ve signed over valuable pieces of property as collateral, such as houses.
